Dr. Wiener earned a B.S. degree in Human Development from Cornell University, and a Ph.D., in Clinical Psychology from Hofstra University. He served as an intern at the Manhattan State Psychiatric Center and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at New York University Hospital. A practicing psychologist in New York for over fifteen years, Dr. Wiener has an expertise in cognitive-behavioral therapy, couples counseling and in effective ways of helping people to make lasting life changes. He also provides supervision to early career psychologists and has served as a staff psychologist and academic consultant at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, St. Vincent's Hospital, and St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital.
